Sign up for free → Live Markets Bitcoin tops $65,000 as markets get more good inflation news Soft PPI data and dovish remarks from NY Fed President Williams pushed bitcoin above $65,000 for the first time in several weeks — Williams said inflation has peaked and expects it to reach 3.25% by year-end before hitting 2% in 2028. The Fed's Beige Book piled on with further evidence: price growth was "the same or slower" in all 12 districts, and September rate hike odds have dipped to 48% from nearly 70% a week ago. Meanwhile the DTCC went live with tokenization today with Goldman, BlackRock, JPMorgan, and Vanguard among 40 tradfi participants — Microsoft, Circle, QQQ, and SPY among the first assets tokenized. The AI momentum trade continues to unwind: Micron, Dell, and Marvell are down 5–12% while the Mag 7 claws back with Microsoft, Apple, and Google up 2–4%.
