Stellar Staking Rounds - How to Stake Lumens At the start of 2023, we approved recommendations received from the Stellar Development Foundation - to change parameters in both cold and hot wallets, allowing an imminent upgrade to the network. This change allows you to earn staking rewards for Lumens starting this March. The recent launch of the Stellar Staking Rounds follows an already robust lineup of staking options we want to implement in our strategy. Stellar community members approached the Stellar Foundation Board with a plan focused on upgrading the inflation pool system while rewarding users with 15% to 24.7% APY and rewards for initial support. For the purpose of Staking Round 1, a total of 2.33 Billion XLM has been reallocated from the Stellar Development Foundation's inflation accounts. Due to the round-based nature of the event, if the reserve is not met within the end of Round 1 (~30 days), all remaining Lumens will be transferred for the next round.
